• Sanofi STEM Youth Challenge: The Air We Share

  • Sanofi and ASTC invite applications from science centers and museums (SCMs) in the United States to implement a youth challenge for high school students on air and respiratory health, as part of The Air We Share, a partnership between Sanofi and ASTC’s Seeding Action initiative.  
     
    Applications are open for organizations to host a 2-day “hackathon” event in conjunction with the national challenge. Find more information about this opportunity in the Request for Proposals. 


    Please note that organizations must be (or plan to become) ASTC members and must be located in one of the following US Census Bureau divisions: Middle Atlantic, East North Central, West North Central, South Atlantic, East South Central, West South Central, West, and Pacific. 

    All applications must be submitted by Friday, August 21, 2026.

  • Budget

    For the budget question below, please download, fill, and reupload The Sanofi Youth Challenge Budget Template. You may request up to $30,000 in funding. Project budgets must include:

    • Staff time
    • Consultant/partner costs
    • Materials
    • Other event costs

    Please do not include the fixed costs for judge honoraria or prize funds in your budget. Each organization selected will automatically receive $2,750 to cover those expenses.
