As the premier gathering for the science engagement community, the ASTC Annual Conference is the ideal time to host a meeting or event for you and your collaborators. These meetings and events could include meet-ups around an interest or affinity (such as an ASTC Community of Practice); project meetings; receptions; focus groups or other research activities; and any other opportunity to connect and convene with other science engagement professionals.
Please complete this form to tell us about your meeting or event. Your meeting/event may take place at conference facilities or offsite. Depending on the nature of the request, ASTC will:
1) promote the meeting/event in the program
2) connect you with the hotel(s) and/or convention center to identify space options, and/or
3) provide ideas for meeting/event content and promotion as needed
ASTC will follow up with additional details depending on the nature of the meeting/event. Your request is not considered “confirmed” until you hear from a member of the ASTC team. You will be notified as soon as possible if your request has been approved and if space is available.
Your request should not conflict with other scheduled events, including the opening event, plenary sessions, or daily concurrent sessions.
Please note that you, the meeting/event Host, will be responsible for all charges associated with this meeting/event.
Events with additional support and coordination from ASTC are available as a sponsorship opportunity.
A separate form must be completed for each space request.
